Option is mine.
By (I am an Owner) on May 03, 2009I just recently purchased a kawasaki klr 650, a 2006. This bike sits up well and is geared perfectly for my stlye of riding. I like to ride about 14 miles from my house to feed and water some trail horses I own. My farm is in a rural part of the county, with plenty of timberland all around, the are ... numerous dirt roads and logging roads I pass on the way to the farm, the beautiful river, the Cahaba. Often I will pull off the asphalt and ease down a forest road, the KLR is in its zone. However, I am more impressed with the way it handles on the Highway and I love to hear the rascal's big thumping as I smooth down the road. I have taken on 120 to 200 mile trips and it is a blast. The wind in my face, the option is mine, dirt or asphalt?

KLR650 dirtbike?
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 16, 2008The KLR650 is a jack of all trades. IT does everything but nothing well. It vibrates allot especially in high speeds ( and dont pass 75 for to long if you value your life!). Also the decals are very cheaply made. After I when through mud trail the decals are damage?? and the brake lever broke!!?? ... I got it fixed cheap but still! However I like the economy (60 MPG)of this 400 pound enduro(with me on is 620+ pounds) exept gear. And reliability is excellent! I thing overall for the money is the best enduro bike out there!!
