Fantastic mean little machine
By (I am an Owner) on May 15, 2012I purchased this bike used from a private seller for a steal $1,500. It's a 2008 model and I use it on my daily commute right in the thick of Dallas traffic. I ride it 50 miles everyday to and from work. The bike keeps up totally fine with traffic. I get on the HOV lane and keep up with traffic on ... that fast moving lane just fine. It handles 75 - 80 mph without problems. It is a great bike if you are looking for fun economical transportation and for the money you pay for it you can't go wrong!

Best money I ever spent... except for that one time, but that's another story...
By (I am an Owner) on Jan 11, 2012I bought a brand new 2008 GV250 straight out of the box. Since I bought it the only repair's I've had to do was replace the front & rear sprockets, and adjust the chain tension occasionally. I have gone from Florida to NY State a few times already and have put over 15,000 miles on mine. It takes hills ... without missing a beat and handles great (One wrong turn on the Appalachian Trail will acquaint you with some very quick maneuvers in a hurry.) It will zip along at 97MPH Alllllll day long. My experiance is that it gets about 28-60MPG depending on your driving conditions. All around it's a great bike weather you're a beginning-rider, or an experianced-rider without comprimising power. It'll keep up with Kawasaki's Ninja 250,or pass it right out of the box... I would buy another one but next time I think I'll get the GV650. The ONLY thing I didn't like was the headlight beam is kicked at an angle like this (/) and I have to switch to HighBeam every time I need to make a left turn. But that's it.

Love my bike
By (I am an Owner) on Jun 23, 2010I started riding my bike in 2008 as a beginner and still find it hard to part with. This bike is easy to handle and light weight. As a small women, I find this bike just right for me and I have had it at 75 mph and it still had way more to give. I always ride with a group of people and have no problem ... keeping up with them on our cruises and I stop at the gas pumps for them and mine is still just about on full. The Harley guys have to give me a thumb's up that I ride with. And trust me, they have put me to the test with this bike and my bike has never let me down. Only complaint I have is that it needs another shift up in the gear. It sounds like its I need to shift up often. But other then that,I love the people that walk around it wanting to know what it is and then see them blown away because of it being a 250cc. They think its a 650. I would tell anyone to start with this bike....she just may be a keeper!

My Gv250 VTwin Aquila
By (I am an Owner) on Mar 28, 2009I love this bike . handling, acceleration, braking, it has it all. This Bike also has great looks to go with it so in my opinion the GV250 Aquila "IS" the Total package as far as 250cc Cruiser motorcycles go.

Great bike!!!
By (I am an Owner) on Jan 20, 2009This is a great bike. I am a veteran rider and I find this bike a blast to ride. I ride it long distances as well as long distances and for the money this is a really smooth bike. I thought I would use this bike to get back into riding and almost two years later I still own and love it. I am ... starting to add some accessories. Great bike!!!

Great little bike
By (I am an Owner) on Jan 02, 2009I purchased my Hyosung in July. I have ridden over 5K. I ride on all types of highways, streets and speeds. I have had very few problems. I had to replace the chain due to stretching and the clock on my speedomitoer needed replacing. In my opinion it is a fantastic buy for the money. Sure, the chrome ... and the apearence is cheesey but the moter is great for a small bike. If you are looking for cheap and controlable this bike could work for you.

Great buyke
By (I am an Owner) on Dec 08, 2008Ive had my Hyo for just on a year and I think its a great first bike. Ive never owned/ridden a m/bike before (Im 45..yeah I know Im a late bloomer)and have found this to be extreamly rider friendly. Im 6'2" 215lbs and find the size and weight easy to handle. Ive had plenty of comments about how good ... it looks and how decieving its size is for a 250. Im seriously looking at the 650 model as Im not into brands or status symbols just value for money and "looks". This bike has plenty of chrome, a nice style and easy handling and lets face it for the joe public, when a bike passes by at a 100ks they dont really know what the name of the bike is, only that it either looks good or it doesnt. Maybe with that thought Im not a real biker yet haha. Ride safe everyone

Great first bike
By (I am an Owner) on Nov 23, 2008I have put over 3K miles since my purchase in mid June. The pet cock did leak but the dealer replaced under full warranty. It ended up being a bur on the O ring. I am constantly ask where I got it and no one beleives it is only a 250cc. It has great pickup. Easy to manuever around town plenty ... of speed for highway. It is comfortable to ride, especially after installing the windsheild. The only draw back is not being able to find accesory parts such as a saddlebag bracket to fit.

Piece of junk
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 25, 2008The motorcycle was in the shop for 45 day out of 90 day that it was riding it. The bike has been at the dealership for over a year now and Hyosung refuse to respond about all the problems with the bike. The last time the bike locked-up while riding it. The bike would be a good starter bike it ... was reliabile. Many other Hyosung owns in the VA border counties of North Carolina are having the same problems.
