Everything I wanted
By (I am an Owner) on Dec 22, 2016Third year riding - started on a Vulcan 500 as do many. Didn't like the cruiser style. Move to a 2014 CBR500R ABS - loved the ergo's and light weight. But always wanted an Interceptor. Had a Demo at the dealer - offered my basically what I bought my CBR for over the winter - Bought my dream bike ... a year or two before I planned. Looks like they aren't going to bring it into Canada any more so really glad I got mine new. Love the riding position, the speed is more than enough for road riding anywhere - got the factory panniers and top box and I can travel for a week easily and with good comfort. Put a touring screen on it - raised the bars, lowered the pegs and it fits me perfectly now. Build quality is great. style is understated and perfect to allow high speed touring without attracting attention. My wife loves to ride with me. What more can I ask for. In the real world with rough roads and cops liter bikes and I ride along nicely together unless they go into full lose my license mode. Oil clean perfect every oil change. Gear box sharp and no issues. Glad i actually bought a dream bike and it is still my dream. Plan on holding onto this until I stop riding
