  • Laid back torpedo
By  (I am an Owner) on Feb 16, 2017

Bought my 2014 manual Trans CTX700 last May and am thrilled to have a bike that is truly comfortable all day! Regardless of what Burns and others may write, it is a great bike and lots of fun!! I previously owned a CB550, then an FZ750, then a V45 Sabre, then a Bandit 1200S (now for sale), a CF Moto ...

The CTX700 is the perfect bike for commuting or cross country trips and everything in between. There really isn't a bad part to this bike. Potholes...no problem....rain...no problem....traffic...no problem...curves...bring it on! Track days...could be done, but pegs will drag. Take on that 1200 Sportster at a red light...oh yeah!

  • Excellent city bike
By  (I am an Owner) on Jan 16, 2015

I've had this bike for 7 months now. This is the perfect city bike. Easy to handle due to its low center of gravity. Very fast off the line due to it's low end torque.

The seat is very comfortable, and low enough that you can put your feet flat on the ground when you stop.

    ...

The CTX is very fuel efficient (65mpg). The auto transmission is great when you're in stop and go traffic or when you're in an area with a lot of traffic lights. You can also shift on your own if you like.

All in all, a very practical yet fun bike.

  • Great Handling Bike
By  (I am an Owner) on Jul 11, 2014

This review is for the CTX700N. I've owned this bike for two months and am still amazed every time I ride. This is my third bike and my favorite. Quiet cockpit, good acceleration, superb handling. I added a Puig windscreen to keep the air off my chest.
