After few years on HD, FZ1, FJ1200, XJR1300 at last I'm happy. Brilliant bike for people without mental issues or small ball syndrome

I have the st1300a.I had many other bikes in my life time, but this bike takes care of my younger side and the older side of me.What I mean is, if you like that quick get up and go you have it.The other part is you can take long nice ride and enjoy the mellow side of life.Great bike.

  • Best Passenger Seat Going!
By  (I am an Owner) on Nov 13, 2008

My husband and I ride the ST1300 (2003 model, you did not have the year to reveiw).

Dan has changed the seat twice and looking to try another seat. We go on those long trips to see how many miles in a day we can cover. My passenger seat is the best I have ever had and over the ...

When Dan has changed his section of the seat, I have only the cover changed to match the rider's seat.

Thank you Honda for coming up with a seat that is comfortable no matter how many hours or how long between stops my husband wants to ride.

  • Honda ST 1300
By  (I am an Owner) on Oct 09, 2008

One of the best sport touring bikes on the market is the ST 1300. It may not have the power of some of the others such as the FJR or Connie 1400, but it isn't that far behind the FJR. It provides much more wind protection and riding comfort than any of the other sport touring units with the exception ...

  • My Review of the 2004 ST1300
By  (I am an Owner) on Sep 13, 2008

I bought this bike in June of 04. It has 40k miles on it and this is my report on the bike. It had the two recalls and i replaced the head light last week. It still has the original battery and has always been reliable and fun to ride. I install a K-N air filter and two brothers exhaust when it ...

    Front tire replacement 15k Metzlers

    Rear Tire 10 k Metzlers

    Front Brake still original

    Back brakes 15k

Valves been checked and still in tolerance

spark plugs changed at 16 k but looked like new

I have this bike for 4 years now and i could trade it but nothing right now has my eye and i was really looking the Concours over but the bags are way too wide on it. Like it was a after thought on them. This is the best bike i have ever owned power is awesome and yes i have locked horns with my buddies and the ST can run with a FJR never giving a inch.

My thing is that Honda has not changed this bike since 2003 and it is 5 years old now and they need to either improve or make some changes for the people like me that has one that would buy another one but since no change has happen there is no reason for me to buy a new one. I noticed they change certain models and 5 years on anything should be tweaked unless thats the best they can do.
