Experienced rider
By (I am an Owner) on Apr 09, 2012This is my 23rd motorcycle. I am 65 years old and ride 10-20,000 miles per year. I sold a Concours and a Magna when I got this. Tired of valve adjustments; this has hydraulic valves. This is a smooth rider but mild accelerator - very sufficient for a cruiser tho'. Clearance can be a problem if you ... push it hard. I put a quick 8 grand on it since August and have a few trips planned for this summer. Probably the Icefield Parkway between Jasper and Banff. That's a must do for touring riders.

Sabre 2006
By (I am an Owner) on Mar 09, 2012My first bike, this is a great one. Just change the oil and keep riding. It can keep up with the bigger boys and surpass them. I have had mine for six years with no problem and 10k miles.

2011 And Still Cruising
By (I am an Owner) on Jul 04, 2011Not a single issue with my Sabre since I purchased it in 2006 new. I have basically just changed the oil and go. It has enough power to keep me in the group with higher cc bikes without a problem. May be an issue if I ran two up but I would be over the weight limit since I am 300lbs + in riding gear. ... Shame the discontinued the VT1100C2 and the whole 1100cc line. Not sure on how much of a difference in the 1300's? I ride it easy at time and like I stole it at other times and she keeps on going, still on original battery as well.

Perfect Entry Bike
By (I am an Owner) on Jan 18, 2010This bike is low to the ground, takes corners easy and has enough power for the average rider.
