  • Best bike ever...
By  (I am an Owner) on Apr 27, 2012

I bought my 2004 VTX 1800C, new in the box, in July of 2005. I have ridden everythinhg over the years, from a Suzuki 80cc to Triumps, BSAs, Nortons and a whole raft of Harleys over the decades. From Sporties to FXs, FLs, Shovels, Pans, you name it... I have never sat on a bike that gave so much pleasure, ...

I have over 72,000km on her so far. I wrecked out in July of 2010 and my insurance folks spent over $16,000.00 rebuilding her for me. Much of that in custom parts I had installed on her since I first bought her. I have only just now been able to returne to the saddle, this last Easter weekend.

Like others have said here, she is my 'forever' bike. She is outstanding in every respect and Honda really hit the ball out of the park with this one.

Only complaint: the stock saddle. Switched to a Mustang saddle the first year I had her. Happy as a clam ever since.

I have a 2003 1800 and love it!! You can't compare the raw power that this bike delivers and the many features for the cost.

Don't think that I'll part with mine until I can't ride anymore.

  • Man and Machine...Are they compatible?
By  (I am an Owner) on Dec 06, 2008

As far as the 2004 Honda VTX 1800 is concerned...YES! When you turn on this cruiser, it returns the favor! I bought a used 2004 with only 220 miles on it in September and the smile still hasn't left my face!

I have owned several bikes before, but nothing that compares to the raw power ...

With the low seat and the drag bars, handling this monster on the curviest of roads is a dream.

Performance with no sacrifice to comfort...my hat is off to Honda for creating a such a machine! This cruiser is unbelievable!
