  • Old bike, new-again rider
By Hondaoldude (I am an Owner) on May 07, 2023

I needed something to get my riding legs (seat) back, so I bought a used, near mint 2004 Sabre VT 1100c2 and I love this motorcycle! It has less than 8400 original miles on it, never ridden in inclement weather and was garage kept. I rode smaller Hondas when I was younger and the VT1100 Sabre is ...

  • Could be better
By  (I am an Owner) on May 18, 2015

Hi I have riden this bike for two years after my dad gave it to me to ride. I learned how to ride dirt bikes before bicicles so I have had a little experience on two wheels. This bike was a great beginner bike for me and I really enjoy riding it. Overall the bike is great it handles good and is comfortable ...

  • A little heavy and underpowered
By  (I am an Owner) on Mar 11, 2014

Hi, I use to ride a Shadow VT1100 C 1990, for 11 years and now I replaced for this Sabre. Both are a little underpowered and with low final speed. I think with a 1100 VT motor you can deliver more power and final speed. Another thing is the Alternator is too short in their capacity. The fuel tank ...

As pros, it has good stability and easy to handle.

  • The Sabre for All
By  (I am an Owner) on Feb 22, 2011

As an avid Honda rider for years and years I must say I have owned them all. From the Honda Trail 70, Honda XR75, Honda SL100, Honda 250 Elsinore, Honda 754 Supersport to the Honda 1100 V-Twin Sabre. I cannot complain about any of them.

The Sabre is a very nice riding bike, plenty ...

  • Good but not Great
By  (I am an Owner) on Jun 19, 2010

I purchased this bike as an upgrade from a 1984 Honda Magna. I like the overall performance of the bike, however there are a few bells and whistles that is is missing. A low fuel light, tachometer, and center stand. All of which my 1984 had and now I miss. I would have thought technology would ...

  • Nicest Bike I've Owned Since 1971
By  (I am an Owner) on Aug 27, 2009

Smooth with low, relaxed seating position. Enough power to cruise any highway all day. Not designed or powered for drag racing. Only minor complaint is the size of the fuel tank. I would like better range between gas stations.

  • Shadow VT1100 Sabre
By  (I am an Owner) on Mar 01, 2009

This has been a great riding bike! Previously owned a 750 version which was too small. I am a good size guy and the VT1100 fits very nice, easy to handle and a smmoth runner. The bike may be a little under powered if you are more than 250 lbs. No issues with mechanical problems, just repolaced ...
