First few days
By (I am an Owner) on May 06, 2016I took delivery of my brand new 2015 CVO Road Glide Ultra on a Tuesday, had the wife jump on the back and rode over to my friends house. and stood in awe of how gorgeous this thing is! My friend had just bought a 2015 Ultra Limited Low. Which is a really nice bike, but for the 10k extra I paid you ... get so much more. Chrome everything, bags, cover, electric locks! I mean what more could you want on a bike? Why the Gold key of course! Icing on the cake. Rode home found a place in the garage that was safe from kids and their stuff and put it to bed for the night. The next morning pulled it out at 0 dark 30 in the morning and rode to work. Luckily the night before I was able to set up my phone with the Bluetooth so I had tunes to listen to on the way in. What a stereo! Man this sounds good! It feels like I am riding in a pocket of music. They aren't kidding when they say Daymaker headlights! No problem seeing with these on a dark stretch of road. The bike feels really balanced and stable when you are riding, but stop and if it starts to lean Watchout! it is really top heavy for me, but I am coming off a Yamaha Raider which has a much lower center of gravity. It is going to take some getting used to, along with the brakes. They work great, they just feel different with the linked system. The foot pedal feels really stiff compared to my Raider. That motor though! I am so glad I bumped up to the 110! I tried the RG Ultra with the 103 and boy did it seem anemic. Not the 100 though. It has great acceleration for a 900 lb bike. Anyway the paint, fit and finish of everything is what you would expect for 40g's. So far I am loving this bike, but hating the current rainy weather!
