Love it
By (I am an Owner) on Apr 02, 2020Bought two years ago. Engine very reliable, good stock sound...
Efi no issues, easy cold stard at any altitude.Solved a little oil leak on front rocker boxes, put aftermarket gaskets. I make the repair, easy (need a Torque rench).
No complains. A nimble Harley, good for filtering line. ... Greetings from Costa Rica!

Sweet little cruiser
By (I am an Owner) on Jun 12, 2018I just returned to riding after a 45 year hiatus. Got a nice used 2007 red Sportster that I wanted since I was in college. Well, she's a little dreamboat. I love the reliability of the fuel injection system and the solid performance of the disc front and rear brakes. She hauls my 185lbs guide nicely ... on a 70+ mph highway although she rocks and rolls when passing or being passed by a truck. That's my biggest argument for a larger bike. But, for a shorter cruise on the blue highways, this Sporty is a lot of fun and a good, reliable bike.

Loving a Sportster after a 110 cu. in. Bike
By (I am an Owner) on Dec 20, 2014I've had many bikes over my life time including an 1800cc, 110 cube VTX, but I recently had the opportunity to ride an 07 XL883 Sportster and I love it. Not so much to lug around as my 750 lb Honda I had. I am only 5ft. 10in tall and find this bike a delight to get on and run around town or take ... for a shorter trip, maybe 100 miles one way. The sound of the bike is perfect. I altered mine with a half inch drill down the middle. Not too loud but has that Harley flutter. Very smooth too. It's no wonder that the Sportster is Harleys biggest success, staying around since 1957. I'm going to keep my Sporter, I had my seat customized and I'm about to go with an earlier paint theme. I will probably add a Dyna Wide glide or an 06 anniversary Super glide to my collection, but the Sportster is just too good and fun of a bike to part with. I liked my Hondas but I love these Harleys.
