  • Harley's best sounding bike.
By  (I am an Owner) on Aug 24, 2019

Bought my 05 with the idea my wife would transition to it after learning to ride on a Rebel.

She likes her little Rebel and plans on keeping it a few years.

I'm secretly happy as Hell because I absolutely love this Sportster and want to keep it for myself. Lol

    It looks really ...

The Roadster is by far in my opinion the best Sportster ever!

  • 2005 HD Sportster 1200-R
By  (I am an Owner) on Sep 17, 2010

Purchased it new . Very good value. Not a single problem. More than enough power & handles better than any HD I have ever ridden.

Do your maintenance & there is no doubt in my mind it will last better than anything else around.

  • Roadster works for me
By  (I am an Owner) on Aug 13, 2009

I have finally got my wife to take some rides and have now purchased a Sundowner deep bucket seat because the passenger seat was problematic. This addition will allow us to take long rides without regard to "seat" problems. ...

  • 2005 Harley-Davidson 1200R
By  (I am an Owner) on Mar 26, 2009

Overall a very nice bike. Handles much better than the older harleys, due to the rubber mounted engine. Handles very well on corners and stops lighting fast with the dual front disc brakes. Throttle response is very quick and the 1200 cc motor is plenty of power even with a passenger on back. ...
