Awesome Bike
By (I am an Owner) on Apr 14, 2011I recently purchased a 2011 Night Rod Special VRSCDX, denim black, with stripes.
I have been using for 4 weekends now and boy am I happy, thought the front controls will bother me but its completely the opposite. I owned an old shcool honda 750ss back then and its night and day. The power ... of this bike is outrageous even stock. I have no plans on any upgrades yet until I out grow this bike. I ride just to take off stress oof work every weekend and i am enjoying it. To all that is hesitating to buy it, i wouldn't think twice, if u want a power cruiser this is the way to go.
Just my honest opinion.

First Bike
By (I am an Owner) on Mar 04, 2011I recently purchased a 2011 VRSCDX (black denim/sedona stripes) and have had only 3 weekends of riding before the cold Canadian winter set int. This is also my very first street bike, so my review may not be taken too seriously...BUT, this bike honestly stirs me. Compared to most power cruisers, ... a 1250cc powerplant may seem the lesser. I would put this bike up against ANY 1700, 1800 or M109 out there...and win. So far I've added a HD/SE air filter, Vance & Hines 2 in 1 comp. series pipe (similar to a funny car's presence now) and a couple grand in blacked out parts to complete the trans. And yes, I am bragging because I own this beast, I love this bike and always will!
