  • Very Satisfied
By  (I am an Owner) on Nov 30, 2011

I only have logged about 1000miles on my night rod. My last bike was a Kawi MeanStreak 1500 and the night rod beats it just about everyway. The only thing i do miss from my Kawi was the size of the tank. The VRSC models might not be the fastest cruiser motorcycle out there but it sure does the ...

  • A great bike
By  (I am an Owner) on Jun 10, 2010

This is my third Harley after owning a Sportster and a Softail.

THe revolution motor gives a lot of power, and makes this a quick and fast bike.

Had to change to race oil on the front forks.

The bike is a pleasure to ride and gives good control.

On long rides the comfort ...

By  (I am an Owner) on Jan 14, 2009

I purchased my Night Rod in June of 06. I have logged 21000 hard miles with some drag racing included. This bike accelerates like electricity but it's not great in corners. This is truly a straight line bike but it does have drawbacks. One being the horrible fuel mileage, my Scion does better than ...

  • 06 Night Rod
By Jeff Decker (I am an Owner) on Oct 22, 2008

I bought an 06 Night Rod about 18 months ago and have put just about 25,000 miles on it. I have properly maintained it at all times and have ridden it fairly hard. This bike is absolutley awesome. I love it so much that I could not help myself and bought another one just like it with only 5 miles ...

  • Night Rod
By  (I am an Owner) on Oct 11, 2008

This is a very capable bike. The Revulution engine has plenty of power and torque. The ride is a bit harsh but with a little work this is a great bike. I changed to foreward controlls and a Sun Downer seat, and the bike fits like a glove. The only other drawback is the 3 1/2 gallon gas tank.

By  (I am an Owner) on Sep 29, 2008

I have owned this very capable bike since the summer of 2005. I bought it as a 40th birthday gift for myself as I already owned a 2001 BMW R1200c cruiser and I traded in a paid for 2001 Triumph Adventurer for the HD.I love the power of the HD. It always amazes me how fast and sporty this bike is. ...

By  (I am an Owner) on Sep 16, 2008

    To give you a background. I also own a 05 Duc 999 and 02 H-D 883R. I've owned 16 bikes through the years.

    I'll start with the motor.

It winds up fast, is quite strong for the rated horsepower and have not had any problems since day one.

    Suspension: Front suspension feels ...

Body/Frame/accessories: Overall fit and finish is very good. Nothing fell off or failed to work properly throughout 4,000+ very hard miles.
