I bought mine in Chicago and broke it in riding it home to Kansas City. I had the dealer install a rack. I bought my tail trunk and windshield with me. It immediately made friends with me. The rider triangle is very comfortable. It has a comfortable long, flat seat that allows the rider to ...

Since that one highway trip, I use it mostly to ride the freeways back and forth to work (20mi one way). I've since added a pair of small hard bags and traded the windshield for a Parabellem fairing.

I really couldn't be happier with the bike. The engine has a wonderful surge of mid-range torque at half throttle that's enough to get me up to freeways speeds by the end of the on ramp. Passing a car on a two lane road usually doesn't require a downshift. It's definitely not a "fast" motorcycle, but it's more than adequit. It's been totally reliable, and it's very good looking.

The only downside is an oil change is a little more evolved than I'm used to, since it's a dry-sump with a cartridge filter. There's a good tutorial on YouTube. It is the same bike Honda sold as the CB400ss from about 2000 to 2006. It's extremely smooth for a single. The only downsides would be the sparse dealer network, and poor resale. Neither have been any concern to me so far. I currently have almost 7000 miles on mine.
