Great little ride.
By (I am an Owner) on May 15, 2013This scooter, purchased with just 400 miles has been a genuine surprise to me. I've ridden mopeds to sport bikes, with the occasional cruiser for over fifty years!
Now in my seventies I still fe3el the need for a powered ride aroundtown freee of a steel cage around me. This scooter ... has been far morte fun than a guy my age should enjoy.
I have already gone over two hundred miles with it (in two weeks) and it has returned me over one hundred miles per gallon, all while being well balanced and with great pull away from stop lights and signs.
It can easily get up to 45 miles an hour, but since the max allowed speed here for 50cc (3 cubic inches!) is 40 mph I try to keep it down to that speed.
I highly recommend it to anyone seeking quality AND a fun ride.
Finally, with no licensing required and low insurance cost for full coverage, it is the ideal commuter bike for me.
Parking is much easier to find also, since it can be parked any place a bicycle can. The looks of it draw constant praise from others at the coffee shop et cetera.

Best 50cc there is!! Genuine Roughhouse R50
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 26, 2010At my friends beach house they purchased two Yamaha Zuma Base scooters, so I went looking for a scooter to keep at their beach house.
After a lot of searching I purchased the Roughhouse R50. What a great bike! It looks better then the Zuma, goes faster, more comfortable to sit on, ... rides two people better, cost less, has a better warranty, well built, etc.
Everyone that goes to the beach house likes the Roughhouse R50 better then the Yamaha Zuma Base. If you are in the market for one you need to check this scooter out!
