  • nice bike
By  (I am an Owner) on Sep 03, 2010

As everyone knows, the Ducati is straight from Italy...where the bike is as beautiful as the country. It is their superbike that runs in the middleweight class (meaning it runs with the Japanese 600's).

As a rider used to the R6, it takes a couple of laps to get used to the way this ...

It is definately not the msot comphy of bikes. Due to its racing nature, you feel everything. Here is how sensative I mean...take your hand and run it against a few bricks....feel the groves in your hand? You will feel that through your seat. You can upgrade the suspension for street if you prefer.

Overall, there is no question whether this bike is a good one or not. It is a top of the line in performance, looks, sounds, and engineering. If you are never going to race or take it to the track, you may want to think about another bike and save some money. If you don't mind a very sensative bike, you love power, and want something that will turn heads, this is the bike for you!

    The 848 is awesome.

Extensive powerband and plenty of torque to get you through the twisities.

She runs a little hot, but that just make hot laps that much more fun!
