BMW K1300GT EE

This bike replaced my 2006 R1200GS. I like riding the bike but owning it is another story. Like my other BMW S1000RR the bike is plagued by shoddy build quality using inferior materials and certain design flaws. I have just over 13000 Miles on the bike, it is kept in a garage but all the paint fell ...off the engine. I asked a dealer for help and was told BMW will refuse to help. I wrote to BMW UK and was advised by customer care that I use the wrong products to clean the bike. I was aghast at this rubbish and disrespectful response. They failed to realise I use the same product to wash the rest of the bike and the paint is fine. The real problem is the way the machine has been cheaply assembled and then not painted properly.
