Envision headlight covers were designed for the sportbike enthusiast in search of the race look. The headlight covers are made of high performance material that creates a scratch and shatter resistant protectant. They are W.E.R.A. approved for track days and are easy to install. Envision headlight material comes in an oversized 12 by 18 sheet with a trimming blade and are available in a variety of colors as well as custom orders, numbers, color blends and designs.

We had no problems fitting our piece onto our '01 Suzuki GSX-R750. Even with its compound-curve headlight, the lens
cover was easy to place. Due to its semi-tacky backing, if you make a mistake, you can simply peel it back off and try again. Don't try this too much though, as the adhesive wears out. The material can contour itself to all but the tightest of curves with only minor coaxing. For those instances, we had to cut a little at the highest point of the curve and overlap the pieces. Not exactly high tech, but it turned out fine. However, after a few miles of driving, we noticed the edges of the material curling up where the sheet was stretched out the most. A way to fix this minor issue is to remove the entire headlamp assembly from the bike and overlap the material over the edges.
The only real problem we found with the headlight cover was riding at night. Although the perforated nature of the plastic allows light to shine through, don't plan on racing any overnight endurance races using this over headlamps. The amount of visible light that would usually shine on the ground was severely diminished. While we don't have any means of quantifying the amount of light lost, we can safely say that if you plan on using this on your bike, try to keep yourself within well lit streets.

Other than that one trait, the cover adds a very cool, unique look to the front of any bike for only a minimum of effort -- we'd estimate about two beers worth, actually. At a retail price of $27.95, we'd say it's a quick, inexpensive way to add a bit of panache with only a bit of cash. Definitely worth a look.
