Money raised to benefit Feed the Children

Yamaha Motor Corporation U.S. is giving MotoGP fans an opportunity to bid on a full set of racing gear from Team Monster Tech 3 factory rider Colin Edwards.

The gear will be presented, in person, by Edwards at the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca during the weekend of July 3-5. All monies raised will benefit Feed the Children, Yamaha Motor Corporations charity.

Included in the Colin Edwards package is a full set of gear worn by the American MotoGP star, including Spidi leathers, his Arai Helmet, and Sidi boots and gloves.

The winning bidder will also receive a pair of weekend three-day general admission passes to the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix, as well as a hotel room for Friday, July 3 through Sunday, July 5.

Colin Edwards' gear will be auctioned off for a good cause.

Yamaha will also invite the winning bidder on stage Saturday evening during scheduled concert ceremonies to receive the personally autographed gear directly from the Texas Tornado himself, Colin Edwards.

This is a great opportunity for a true race fan to get an actual set of riding gear from one of Americas favorite MotoGP stars says Bob Starr, Yamahas general manager of national communications, and one of the best parts of this opportunity is the fact that the monies go to such a worthy cause.

The auction is being conducted on eBay and will continue until May 28. Click here to check out the auction.
