Yamaha reveals 2009 WR450F, WR250F
Except for some updated graphics, both bikes remain unchanged from their 2008 models, as Yamaha decided to stick with whats working.
In the FIM's World Enduro Championships, Johnny Aubert and his WR450F currently sit in first place in the Enduro 2 standings following a pair of second-place finishes at the Grand Prix Maxxis of Poland June 14-15 while Simone Albergoni and his WR250F sits third in Enduro 1.
The two off-road motorcycles will again feature five-titanium-valved engines, and YZ-inspired aluminum frame and digital enduro computer console with pace management functions such as a timer, distance-compensating tripmeter and average speed calculator.
The 2009 WR450F will be available in August at a price of $7,499 while the WR250F will arrive a month later for $6,699.
