Victory announces True American Road Trip

Journeys to be documented online
By Motorcycle.Com Staff, Jan. 22, 2010
Victory Motorcycles is looking for ten riders to take part in series of online videos documenting a True American Road Trip.

Announced at the New York City International Motorcycle Show, the True American Road Trip will feature monthly road trips on either a Victory Cross Country or a Victory Cross Roads motorcycle. The videos will be collected and shared through a variety of online channels such as YouTube and Flickr.

Victory will select ten people to take part. Anyone with a motorcycle license may submit a video application describing their idea for a true American road trip online at http://www.trueamericanroadtrip.com/, or at video booths located at IMS events in New York City or Minneapolis. Entries will be accepted until March 31.

Selected riders will have their choice of a 2010 Victory Cross Roads (pictured) or a 2010 Victory Cross Country.

A panel of judges will select ten entries based on the quality of the idea, creativity of the destination and feasibility of executing the road trip. Selected riders will win a lease on a 2010 Cross Country or Cross Roads, and will ride four road trips from May to August. Riders will document their journeys with text, photographs and videos to be shared online.

The True American Road Trip program is a perfect example of the unique relationship Victory Motorcycles shares with motorcycle riders across the country, says Josh Kurcinka, Victory marketing manager. Victory understands the power of a great ride on a great bike. This program allows us to help 10 people fuel their passion with the open road, providing a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share their passion with vast online audiences.
