Black Bean Games has released a demo of its upcoming SBK X World Superbike video game.

Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC gamers can download the demo and play the official WSBK video game. With the demo, players can race on Portugals Portimao circuit as Max Biaggi on the Aprilia RSV4 or Cal Crutchlow on the Yamaha R6. The demo will also allow up to 16 players to race against each other online.

The full version of the game will feature 90 riders from the World Superbike, Supersport and Superstock championship and all the official tracks from the 2010 season. The game features a quick play arcade mode and a full simulation mode for an added level of realism.

Players can play as any of the existing riders or create their own racers and compete for the championship. In telemetry mode, players can examine their previous laps and analyze their speed, brake and throttle usage, horsepower, torque, and suspension levels.

Black Bean Games is also releasing a special edition version of SBK X which includes 17 WSBK legends including Carl Fogarty on his 1999 Ducati 996, Troy Bayliss and his 2006 Ducati 999, Ben Bostrom on his 2001 Ducati 996, Colin Edwards on his 2000 Honda VTR1000 SP1, and Ben Spies on his 2009 Yamaha R1. The Special Edition version also comes with a poster featuring Spies and Noriyuki Haga and a DVD featuring an interview with Spies and highlights from the 2009 season.

The Special Edition version of SBK X includes 17 legends including all-time WSBK win and and championship leader Carl Fogarty.

SBK X is already available in Italy and will be released throughout Europe on June 4. The demo is available in North American but no details about the release of the full version were announced. With Spies featured on the cover and several American stars included in the Special Edition, however, a North American release is expected.
