A new photography exhibit opening this summer at the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum is sure to make visitors see red.

‘Red Bikes’, opening July 24, is a collection of nine large prints by photographer and motorcycle enthusiast Dawn Deppi. Each photograph presents elements of classic motorcycles from a unique perspective to highlight the sculptural beauty of the machines.

“My goal as a photographer is to look at common objects from an innovative angle,” says Deppi, who chose to photograph only red motorcycles for this exhibit. “I think the prints featured in ‘Red Bikes’ achieve this and capture the passion of motorcycling.”

“The photography of Dawn Deppi captures the unique beauty of a well-designed motorcycle,” says Mark Mederski, the museum’s executive director.

An accomplished artist, Deppi’s work has appeared in several galleries and publications. Some of her photography can be found on the website for her studio, Eye of the Beholder.
