OCC Mobil 1 motorcycle contest

Winner wins custom bagger and trip to Bike Week
By Motorcycle.Com Staff, Sep. 02, 2009
Oil company Mobil is holding a contest with the winner receiving a trip to Daytona Bike Week and an Orange County Choppers SR Cruiser.

Designed by OCC founder Paul Teutul Sr., the grand-prize Mobil 1 motorcycle will be presented to the winner at Daytona Bike Week, Feb. 26 to March 7, 2010. The custom-designed bagger features an S&S Cycle V-Twin X-Wedge engine, dual rear exhaust, six speed Baker RSD Transmission, HHI four-piston brakes and Metzeler ME880 Marathon tires.

I had a great time working with the team at Mobil 1 on the design of this bike, and I think the end result is something that riders will really appreciate, says Teutul. You dont see motorcycles like this one very often. Whoever wins it is probably going to make a lot of friends in Daytona in a hurry.

The Mobil 1 SR Crusier will be awarded at Daytona Bike Week 2010.

The grand prize motorcycle will be touring with the Mobil 1 Performance Zone exhibit, appearing at events around the country including the DUB Auto Show, Sept. 25-26 in Miami Beach, Fla. and the Formula Drift Championships in Irwindale, Calif. on Oct. 14-17. The contest winner will be presented with the motorcycle at Bike Week.

The contest runs until Nov. 30, and a winner will be selected, as well as fifty runners-up who will receive Mobil 1 Motorcycle Oil shirts and hats. Entries are accepted at http://www.mobil1.com/winamotorcycle. The sweepstake is not available to residents of Alaska, Hawaii, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Virginia.
