Banbury, England -- Kenny Roberts - world champion, team owner and now race-bike manufacturer - last week launched his latest venture: an open-to-all web site dedicated to motorcycle Grand Prix racing.

The new web site is part of a major expansion for Proton Team KR, and the English-based GP Motorsports engineering company that designed and built theProton KR3 three-cylinder motorcycle, and the forthcoming V5 990cc four-stroke MotoGP machine, scheduled to hit the track next year.

"I've made a major recommitment to GP racing since Dorna changed the system, giving the teams some security in the championship," said Roberts.

"This change of direction makes it possible not just to stay in racing, but to think about expanding and look at the long term," he continued.

"Our new web site is part of the general expansion and improvement," he said.

Up and running from the British GP at Donington, the web site is open to press and general public access, and has early reports on the progress of the exciting new four-stroke, as well as drawings of next year's MotoGPproject.

As the site expands, it will go far beyond Proton Team KR, covering news and opinion on the whole of the MotoGP World Championship series as a valuablesource of news and background information.

The site will also have all the latest Press bulletins from other teams, manufacturers and organizations as they are published.

It will be open to Press and public. Log on at teamkr.com, and keep watching.
