Mexico's Flag to Incorporate Honda's Wing Logo

For the third consecutive year, Honda captured the Baja 500, with XR650R-mountedracers taking the top three overall positions in the 33rd annual Tecate / SCOREBaja 500. Honda Off Road Team members Jonah Street and Steve Hengeveld took thewin, edging out the pair of Johnny Campbell and Tim Staab. For Street, thevictory marks his third consecutive win at the event. It was Hengeveld's secondconsecutive Baja 500 victory. The winning pair completed the course in 9 hours,55 minutes, 26 seconds.

Campbell and Staab led much of the race before suffering a clutch failure...

Oncerepaired, the duo rode hard and finished the course in 10 hours, 5 minutes, 13seconds - less than 10 minutes behind the Street and Hengeveld. Privateers EricBrown and Dayton Raper led the third place effort on their XR650R, finishing in11 hours, 4 minutes, 34 seconds.

Notably, the three Honda teams beat all of the 4-wheeled entries to the finishline.
