Hybrid Power for Motorcycles?

The hybrid approach Ecyle is using is similar to the Honda and Toyota hybrid cars, without the automatic stall at stops and, unfortunately, without the smart electronics that recharge the battery as necessary regardless of speed. It won't work in city riding because the engine won't start until 16 mph leading to battery death in traffic. I should think that can be fixed...
The rocker-crank engine is new to me. It doesn't seem scalable above perhaps 250 cc, but more conventional engines could be used for larger versions. The motor/generator looks truly elegant, very light and powerful.
Ecycle seems to have done their homework in the frame and suspension department at the racetrack.
There may well be a market for an eco-friendly, sporty bike like this if the price is right.
Let's talk hybrids!
