Sources have confirmed that Larry Griffis, Yamaha's Racing Division Manager for nearly 21 years is retiring at the end of June.

Larry has worked with some of the biggest names in motorcycle racing, and has done so after working his way up to one of the highest positions through hard work and a sheer love for what he does. Since Larry's role has been dimished recently (his choice) due to health reasons...

people are not very surprised at his retirement. He reportedly wants to get to work on his home and some cars that he's acquired, and take some time to sit back and enjoy life for a while.

We wish him all the best.
