An R1 Motor in a Watercraft?

A few days ago there were some posts on a few sites and message boards about a spy shot that surfaced over at the Cycle News web site. It seems that after Honda spent a good deal of time pumping up their as yet unreleased "world's first four-stroke watercraft" at least year's dealer show in Las Vegas, it's Yamaha that's gone and actually done the deed first.

Apparently there was a press intro held last week in the Bahamas that gave a few journalists an opportunity to sample the new craft that is supposedly powered by an R1 motor...

Official comment from Yamaha is that they haven't any sort of knowledge about anything like that. But we hear that all the time, so it shouldn't translate into this watercraft story being a miss.
