Triumph Gets Fixed -- Maybe

As you found out from our recent test of Triumph's TT600, the bike has some excellent features. Unfortunately for Triumph (and TT600 owners), the bike has its share of glitches, the most significant being a horrible fuel-injection system.

After meeting with a Triumph spokesperson this morning and discussing various Triumph machines, he let on that Sagem (the current provider of the TT600's Fi system) will no longer be working with Triumph...

It seems that certain details about the TT600's injection mapping were relayed to Sagem in the hopes that that'd carry out Triumph's wishes and fix the bike's woes. Unfortunately, Sagem was giving triumph a bit of lip service and never made the changes specified -- instead doing things their own way which, as we've seen, has been the wrong way.

While the spokesperson confirmed the separation of Triumph and Sagem, he could not confirm who the new supplier would be. Either way, the change should make the TT600 a better bike and bring it closer to the top of the World Supersport party.
