JohnBoy Gets a Job

Before we start on the news about John Kocinski's new job, let me just say that I've met, and like, Mr. Kocinski. He's not a bad guy. Hard to work with, but on the whole, not deserving of the rants people like to fling his way. People should cut him some slack.

That said, yesterday, Cycle News reported that Kocinski signed with Yamaha to develop their four-stroke Gran Prix racer, which is scheduled to compete in 2002.

Talk about a dream job! "Here," says the Yamaha Engineer, "ride this super-fast, ultra-light bike around this here racetrackthat we rented just for you all day. Go fast, have fun, I'll make changes, then you go faster."

I'm sure the job is more stressful than that, but I sure wish I was doing it instead of sitting in MO's server room working on computers!
