Honda VTX 1800 Reader Feedback

There are cruisers and then there are the kind of cruisers that meander into the sort of territory that was previously the domain of such power-bikes as Yamaha's V-Max. On this side of the fence, power is the main attraction and holds even more allure than good looks and nostalgia.

The newest and most hard-core entry into this segment is Honda's VTX 1800. With bores nearly four inches wide and valves larger than a P-51's and almost 900cc in each cylinder, this new Honda is all about power. Oh, it looks pretty good, too.

We recently sampled the bike at the press intro in Santa Barbara and came away quite impressed with the newest boulevard bad-ass...

Take a look at the story and let us know what you think of the bike and what it means for the cruiser world. And, PLEASE, no "my bike is better than yours" B.S. We're all adults here, I think...
