House Passes Motorcycle Safety Bill

Well, not exactly. It's more like this, you see:
House Resolution No. 43--Relative to Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month. LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST.
WHEREAS, In the State of California there are over one million motorcycleriders, passengers, and enthusiasts; and...
WHEREAS, The safety hazards created by motorcycle riding should be ofgreat concern to motorcycle riders, as well as all other motor vehicleoperators; and
WHEREAS, It is especially important that the citizens of our state beaware of motorcycles on the streets and highways and recognize the importanceofmotorcycle safety; and
WHEREAS, During this month all motorists should unite to give theirsupport to motorcycle safety and awareness; now, therefore, be it Resolved by the Assembly of the State of California, That the month of May2002 be recognized as Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month; and be it further Resolved, That the Chief Clerk of the Assembly shall transmit copies ofthis resolution to the author for distribution.
