SPRINGFIELD, Ohio. February 12, 2001

Competition Accessories and Ducati announced today that Aaron Slight will joinLarry Pegram and the Competition Accessories Ducati AMA Superbike teamfor 3 days of testing at Willow Springs Raceway.

"While we planned to have John Kocinski for the 2001 season,John had never signed his final contract due to various unresolvedissues," said Tim Pritchard, General Manager of CompetitionAccessories. "As the season and serious testing were fastapproaching, the parties mutually agreed that it would be in their bestinterest to make other arrangements for the 2001 season. We certainlywish John well, as he is a tremendous talent."

This is great news! Slight is an awesome rider, and a colorful individual -- the US needs as many interesting riders as it can get!
