With their first modern four-stroke, the YZ400F, Yamaha changed the rules of motocross and the way people thought about thumpers. Their latest moto iteration of this bike, the YZ426F took things even further, being the first production motorcycle with titanium valves.

Now Yamaha has decided to bless the off-road crowd with a bike that is every bit as trick as its moto cousin: The Year 2001 WR426F.

We have spent some time with the newest four-stroke in Yamaha's line-up and are quite impressed with the bike, finding only a few minor flaws...
