MotoGP on CBS This Season

In case this escaped your radar, Dorna Sports announced on Thursday that CBS television will broadcast not one, but three MotoGP races this summer in the U.S., Catalunya on 6/10, Assen on 6/30 and Sachsenring on 7/15.

In total, four races, counting the USGP on FOX, will be broadcast nationally on network TV in the States this season. It's obvious that some people in the TV business think that there's some chance that the sport can gain a foothold here. Let's hope enough people watch to encourage them. Last year's ABC rebroadcast of the USGP pulled surprisingly decent ratings.
