Honda Announces New Licensed Apparel

Torrance, CA --- As a result of a unique motorsports marketing partnershipwith Universal Studios, American Honda is pleased to announce an excitingnew brand building program. American Honda and Universal Studios asCo-Licensors, have finalized plans with Dynasty Apparel - a Miami-basedmanufacturer of high quality sportswear with over 20 years experience inmanufacturing licensed apparel for major league sports.

An exclusive assortment of these new licensed apparel products will debutat Gadzooks. Dallas-based Gadzooks is a specialty retailer of casualapparel and related accessories for young men and women principally betweenthe ages of 14 and 18. Established in 1983, Gadzooks currently operatesover 425 mall-based stores in metropolitan and middle markets in 40 states.

Authentic Honda Racing/Woody Woodpecker gear and apparel can still bepurchased at Honda dealerships and other industry retailers.

American Honda joined forces with Universal studios late in 2000, with amulti-year agreement to utilize Honda's professional Motocross and RoadRacing teams in conjunction with Universal's Woody Woodpecker character, tocreate a distinctive sports property for brand building beyond their coreaudience.
