The little "old man" (he is 33 after all) that is Loris Capirossi went wire to wire for his second win in a row ('05 and '06) at Motegi in the A-Style Gran Prix of Japan. More importantly though, Rossi finished a strong second. With just two rounds left (Estoril-Portugal 10/15/06 and Comunitat Valenciana-Spain 10/29/06) in the 2006 GP, a wafer-thin 12 points now separate Valentino Rossi from the Kentucky Kid in overall points.
