Tire Plug Update!

What reader priday is apparently talking about in the following post refers to an earlier post wherein he queried readers about using tire plugs. I guess this is his account of his results.--MO

Well, so far, so good!

All skin still attached to body...Check.

Bike still in one piece...Check.

Plug in both the obvious hole and another not so obvious hole...Check.

Confidence that plugs do not equal instant death...Check.

Changed the rear tire on XB12S to a Conti SportAttack anyway cause the stock tire was completely blasted and it was time to anyway...Check

Comfort in knowing that if I punch a hole in a new tire, I'm not gonna have to shell out $230+ for another rear tire mount and balance out the door...Big friggin' check!

Don't fear the plug, brothers, easy, quick and by my 2 1/2- 3 hrs of beating the crap out of the old tire, including a big nasty, smokey burnout with two plugs in the tire!

Pretty damn reliable!

Thank you all for your insight, and I hope this helps somebody in the future.
