Large announcement number one:

The big FJ is back, and this time it's wearing running shoes and sporting shaft-drive. For two years, the American market has been left out in the cold as the Europeans once again got the good goods. After much pressure from the US market, Yamaha's American arm has decided to calm the ruffled feathers of Yamaha owners by importing the FJR1300 to these shores. We will now get the same 145 horsepower motor, all-aluminum frame, big brakes and big suspension the Euros have been loving for some time now.

Since you have all been begging for it, Yamaha has listened and granted your wish...

After reading the story, let us know if you think the FJR1300 will do well when it's sold on our shores. And those of you reading us from Europe, feel free to share your experiences with the bike with those of us who have been deprived.
