The U.S. Postal Service kick-starts the 66th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally by dedicating the American Motorcycle commemorative postage stamps just prior to the Mayor’s ride to the Crazy Horse Memorial. The owners of the cycles that modeled for the stamps will be in the forefront with their bikes as a 10 ft. image of the stamps unfurls during the first-day-of-issue dedication ceremony. The stamps depict a 1918 Cleveland, 1940 Indian Four, 1965 Harley-Davidson Electra-Glide and a circa 1970 Chopper.
