Thanks for the Memories Staff

Hello Folks

I just completed a 17,000 km journey through the USA. Through the Mid-West to the Four Corners area, through Death Valley to Yosemite, to San Francisco, up the Pacific Coast Highway and home to Ottawa Ontario via Seattle, Victoria, Vancouver and the Trans Canada Highway.

Along the way we met hundreds of your fellow Americans who treated us with warmth, courtesy and were invariably helpful. Aside from the magnificent scenery in the National Parks and the incedible beauty of the landscape, I'll remember the people we met as being the highlight of the trip.

And a special thanks to MO. I bought my BMW R 1150 GS based on an article entitled "Funky, Spunky and Germunky" written in 2000 and I have never regretted that decision. I'm here to tell you that people do read the reviews, take your thoughts on the merits of the bikes seriously and make buying decisions based on your thoughts.

Thanks also to the folks at the BMW dealership in Modesto Ca. who struggled with a weird electrical fault for the better part of a day to get me back on the road.

So, thanks for the memories and I hope that you encounter the same warmth and hospitality we received in your country when you are riding in Canada.
