“Those super-moto bikes sure do look like fun”, you say. “But that lil’ ol’ thumper moto ain’t enough to get me around, ‘cuz I’m a pretty big guy” is what you say to justify purchasing yet another big-bore sportbike for your riding pleasure.

If only there was a supermoto that was as light and agile as a 50 HP thumper, but had the torque and comfort of a big-bore sportbike. No more excuses, friend; KTM has the bike. It’s the 950 Supermoto and we sent Senor Editor Gabe Ets-Hokin to Scuderia West in San Francisco, CA try one for the day.

The good news? It’s all that and a bag o’ chips. The bad news? It’s 13 large. Is it worth the money? Is it fun to ride? Can Gabe pop a wheelie?
