Hey,
I am a newbie (er squid?). A friend of mine is offerring me his 1996 Kawasaki Ninja 500. He bought it new 10 years ago and put about 1400 miles on it. However, its been in storage for the last 3-4 years, never ridden, not even started once. I checked it out yesterday and was impressed with the exterior quality. Heh, I guess that's one way to preserve the factory shine :-). My question is, what needs to be done to it before it will become road worthy again? With 1400 miles, is the engine even broken in? I just want to get your input before I tow it to the dealer, not that I don't trust the dealer with what needs to be done ;).
Thanks,
Raj.
