Guzzi, Guzzi, Guzzi...We talk a lot about Moto Guzzi here at Motorcycle.com, and it's not just because our European Correspondent, Yossef Schvetz, is in love with the storied Italian marque. It's also because it's an old and hallowed brand that survives year after year because of--or is that despite?--its quirky uniqueness.

Not long ago, scooter giant Piaggio acquired the brand as part of its larger scheme for Galactic Domination. That's a good thing for Guzzi; there's a lot more money being thrown at R & D and marketing, and we've seen a lot of new models as Guzzi tries to reconnect with its traditions as well as lure buyers from other markets.

Yossef went to a launch for the 2006 models not long ago, and he had a chance to spend some seat time on the three models he thought were most significant; the new Griso 850, Breva 850 and the 1100 California Classic. How good are they? Are they still proper Guzzis? Does losing 250cc take away from the Guzzi experience? Does spider-legged Yossef look like a dork on a cruiser?

Wait no more, for here we present... Guzzi, Guzzi, Guzzi!
