Boots That Can Fit Over Armored Leather Pants?

I have a pair of Dainese leather pants with non-removalable shin protectors. My Sidi boots will not zip up on the outside. The best I can do is zip the pants over the boots, but I can't get the last three inches zipped. Does anybody make boots that can work with these pants, or pants with removable armor?
I would hate to have to wrap duct tape around the pants on track days.
