Foggy Returns to Racing... in a Car

Motorcyclists need to have a good feel for traction and how slight changes effect their machine. Automobile manufacturers recognize this and occasionally ex-motorcycle racers get the call to come test a four-wheeler.

It comes as no surprise, then, that ex-World Superbike champ Carl Fogarty has recently tested a few cars and surprised a some crew members with his early speed.

Autosport magazine reported that Foggy may be lining up for the 2001 British Touring Car Championship after he turned some good laps in various cars at a number of tracks.

No matter what he's in, he's sure to have his fair share of fans -- and those who wish to see him fail -- just as he did in WSBK.
