Chinese producers forge two partnerships
Chiang Mai _ Major Chinese motorcycle manufacturers are setting up manufacturing plants in Thailand to tap the lucrative local market as well as gain a springboard to Asean countries. At least two Chinese motorcycle makers have forged deals with Thai partners to set up manufacturing plants in Thailand on the sidelines of the second meeting of the Thailand-China Joint Committee on Trade, Investment and Economic Co-operation ending yesterday.
