Lordy! Turning 41, Riding Bug Has Bitten Me Again!

I will be 41 in August and I'm thinking of getting a new motorcycle next summer in the $8000-9000 range. The Buell City X looks great for me but I'm not crazy abought the riding postion. Any suggestions? My last bike was a 1997 Honda Interceptor and I had many great years of riding. I need something that was just as reliable and fun. Definately will take the MSF Experienced Rider course to re-aquaint myself with riding again.

Thanks. Interceptors are great bikes, and tough to top. Maybe try a late-model VFR800? The same, only better... FZ-1? SV1000? --MO
