Is the first production motorcycle with titanium valves a big deal? You bet it is. Yamaha's Year 2001 YZ426F is the first such machine graced with the Ti goods.

We can't wait to see what happens when this technology makes its way to production streetbikes. In the meantime, it should be interesting to see what happens when Yamaha's latest moto effort is faced with competition from Honda's new four-stroke motocross bike.
